A small village nestled in the Sabalan mountain range in northwestern Iran, Serab is home to a host of skilled tribal weavers who crafted artful, geometric rugs. While their remote location made it difficult to participate in the larger global rug trade, their isolated territory allowed their art form to develop noticeably unencumbered by commercial influences. The unique qualities of these rugs were dictated partly by their everyday use, partly by the type of raw materials they had available, and partly by the centuries old artistic influences of nearby villages and nomadic groups.
The size is 10' 8" x 3' 2", Some wear but overall good condition. As with all our rugs you will have 7 days to return it in case the wear is more than you can live with, or for whatever reason.

Free delivery around the Lake Chapala area for purchases of $4000 pesos. We accept returns up to 7 days after the sale unless the items are sale priced, sorry, no returns on sale items. We previously delivered to Guadalajara for free but we no longer offer that service.
