This is a modern machine made rug. Shag is a modern invention for those who like walking on a fluffy surface .. The size is 11' 10" by 9' Excellent condition. It is synthetic fiber so it won't stain so easily like a wool rug might. This was a VERY expensive rug about 6 years ago when it was purchased new.
