Priced in Mexican Pesos.  This Persian carpet was woven in Meshad, one of the prime weaving centers in Iran where top of the line rugs are woven in wool.  The customary design is with the Shah Abbasi medallion, which this rugs has.
Mashhad‎, also spelled Mashad or Meshad,  is the second-most-populous city in Iran and the capital of Khorasan-e Razavi Province. It is located in the northeast of the country.  The size  is 9' 11" x 12' 7",  very good condition.  Aprox. 50-70 years old..
