Jarabe Tapatio, Ashtray and Match Holder, Sold As-Is
Peso Priced Item: Jarabe tapatío, often referred to as the Mexican hat dance, is the national dance of Mexico. It originated as a courtship dance in Guadalajara, Jalisco, during the 19th century, although its elements can be traced back to the Spanish zambra and jabber gitano, which were popular during the times of the viceroyalty. This measures 6" by 4" and 7" tall. Sold As-Is due to the loss of glaze on the female dancers' nose and a chip in the ashtray.
